We launched one of the first ethical equity funds in the UK in March 1988, marking the start of a long-term commitment to Performance with Principles.
 

For us, responsible stewardship means we have a duty to help clients align their investments with their values. Supported by in-depth analysis and oversight from our Responsible Investment team, we carefully assess the social and environment impact of each of our funds.

We exclude fossil fuels, defence, tobacco and other harmful sectors. And we clearly communicate each fund’s objectives and the responsible and sustainable approach we take to investing in equities, fixed income and listed infrastructure. In short, our funds invest precisely the way we say they do. As a fund house, we seek to have an outsized influence on our local community, wider society and the environment through our approach to investing, voting and engagement.

We are charity owned – a unique ownership structure that ensures we are working towards goals shared by our clients and society more broadly.
