Prudential - PruFunds UPA Adjustments
Ongoing market conditions have affected global funds and markets. As PruFund funds invest in a range of assets across the world they, like other funds, have been affected.
On Tuesday 25 August we announced no Expected Growth Rate (EGR) changes, but upward Unit Price Adjustments (UPAs) to our PruFund funds.
These will apply for the next quarter on the following products:

Prudential Investment Plan

Flexible Investment Plan
-
Prudential Retirement Account
-
Prudential ISA
-
Trustee Investment Plan
-
Flexible Retirement Plan
-
Prudential International Investment Bond
-
International Prudence Bond
Please note, the UPAs also apply to the protected version of the funds, where applicable.
On the monthly PruFund Investment Date, there’s an upward UPA for this fund if the unsmoothed price is 4%, or more, higher than the smoothed price. This was the case this month.
As each PruFund fund has a different asset allocation some funds may have a UPA and others may not.
